Mesha & Jacob’s Wedding Celebration
Located in the heart of Holland, Michigan, Baker Events is one of those venues that immediately sets the tone for a wedding day.
Originally a Baker Furniture warehouse, the space has been thoughtfully transformed into a refined, urban venue with exposed brick, high ceilings, and clean, contemporary finishes. It’s the kind of space that feels both warm and elevated, perfect for couples who want something timeless but not traditional.
Mesha and Jacob hosted their ceremony in the loft before moving down into the main warehouse for their reception, where the energy of the night really came to life.
One of the first things guests saw when entering the reception space was a full green hedge wall, an unexpected but beautiful focal point and the perfect place for a wedding photo booth.

We positioned the wedding booth just on the other side of it, allowing the hedge wall to naturally become the backdrop. It already matched the couple’s eucalyptus-inspired design perfectly.
Nearby, guests had easy access to the bar, cocktail tables, and catering area, which made the flow feel effortless. No one had to go out of their way to find the booth. It was definitely part of the experience.
When Mesha and Jacob first reached out, they weren’t exactly sure which wedding booth experience would be the best fit.
Instead of pushing a package, we walked them through it.
They ultimately chose our print booth experience with classic 2×6 strips, three photos per session with a eucalyptus-inspired design to tie everything together.

That decision matters more than people think.
Because when your photo booth matches your overall wedding aesthetic, it stops feeling like an add-on and starts feeling like part of the event design.

This is something most couples don’t think about until it’s too late.
Mesha and Jacob wanted everything set and ready by 5 PM, right as the wedding party made their entrance. From there, the evening flowed into introductions, speeches, and dinner.
So from 5 PM to 6 PM, the booth was in idle time.
Here’s why this matters:
Most people underestimate how important this is. But visually and logistically, it makes a huge difference.

Once the wedding reception picked up, the booth quickly became a gathering point.

And what stood out most about this group?
They showed up for each other.
Everyone participated.
Everyone signed the guestbook.
Even the kids made sure their photos and messages were included.
A few guests even helped encourage others to jump in, which is always a sign of a great crowd.
This is the part you can’t manufacture, the energy. But when the setup is right and the flow makes sense, it naturally builds.

For every session, guests received their prints and we printed an extra copy for the guestbook.
From there, we handled the rest:
By the end of the night, the book wasn’t just filled, it was complete.
And you could already tell how much it was going to mean to them.

Because long after the music fades, this is what’s left:
Real moments. Real people. Real memories.
One of the most underrated parts of the experience?
The live slideshow display.

As photos were taken, they appeared on a screen in real time, pulling people in, creating energy, and turning moments into shared experiences.
It’s simple, but it changes how guests interact with the booth.
This wasn’t just about having a photo booth.
It worked because:
That combination is what turns a booth into something people remember.

If you’re getting married at Baker Events or a similar venue, the biggest thing to think about isn’t just if you want a photo booth…
It’s how it fits into your day.
Because when it’s done right, it doesn’t compete with your wedding, it becomes part of it.
If you’re looking for a photo booth experience that feels intentional, seamless, and actually adds to your guest experience, we’d love to help you design it.

One thing we loved about this setup at Baker Events was how naturally the space worked with the photo booth.
The built-in hedge wall created a beautiful, ready-made backdrop, which meant we didn’t need to bring in additional styling. It kept the overall look clean, intentional, and perfectly aligned with the venue’s design.
For couples planning a wedding here, this is something to consider.
When a venue already offers strong visual elements like this, a booth + prints-only setup can be the perfect fit. It allows you to focus on the experience and guest interaction without overcomplicating the design.
